Policy Change on Discreet Web Sites

Unfortunately there is a new bill working its way through the Canadian Parliament with respect to prostitution.  The proposed legislation is very vague.  However, there is a possibility that web designers may be legally liable if it is shown that they have deliberately helped advertise services which would fall under the category of prostitution.  Thus from August 1, 2014 until we find out what the final form of the legislation is and until we see a few test cases,Hermes and slave will not be accepting any projects that could be interpreted as advertising prostitution.  This is a reversal of our usual policy of not asking too many questions and presuming that the client knows what they are doing.

This is unfortunate but we see no way around this.  We will do our best to support existing sites during this period of transition but we will not be accepting money.
